The problem with this property was that the original builders didn’t install the correct waterproofing membrane when building the basement.Our contract was to strip out the flat and store all the salvageable items, install a new waterproofing membrane and re-fit the flat back to its original standards.The contract time was set for 6 months and we knew we’d incur penalties if we didn’t complete on time. We project-managed the works, making sure that all subcontractors were punctual on site and conducted their work as detailed in the specifications.
